               VALE RECREATION FOOTBALL CLUB

                         PRIDE PASSION BELIEF

Vale Recreation Football Club was formed in 1932 by the late Wilfred J Corbet
and is based in the Channel Island of Guernsey.

The Club is affiliated to the Guernsey Football Association.

It provides opportunities for players from the age of five to receive coaching
and competition in junior and senior men's and ladies football. Coaching is by
qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability
for working with young people.

The Club consists of a senior first team and reserve side, a senior development team, a senior ladies side and junior teams for Under 18s, Under 16s, under 14s and Under 12s.

Vale Rec is proud to have achieved the FA’s Charter Standard Development
status which is awarded
when a club is able to demonstrate that it meets the
FA’s criteria as to playing programme; child protection; sports equity and
ethics and club management. This is an acknowledgement that we take these
issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming
environment for participants in the sport.

Norman Piette Limited, a local Builders' Merchant, is the main club sponsor.

In 2007, the Club celebrated its 75th Anniversary with a Dinner and Dance at the
Peninsula Hotel. Guest of Honour was ex Saint and Honorary Life Member,
Matt Le Tissier.
