MINI FOOTBALL KITS
AVAILABLE FROM INTERSPORT GUERNSEY
The club provides
opportunities for young people between the ages of five
and twelve to receive
coaching and competition in Junior Minis football,
from School Year 1 through to Year 7.
All coaching is by
qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened
for their suitability for
working with young people.
The club is proud
to have achieved the FA’s Charter Standard Development
status which is awarded
to clubs when the club is able to demonstrate that it
meets the FA’s criteria as to playing programme;
child protection; sports
equity and ethics and club management. This is an acknowledgement that we
take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality
and welcoming
environment for young participants in the sport.
We welcome parents
to all training and competitions and value your support
as we are keen to try and involve parents in the club. Below you will find
some information about training times and dates, and details regarding
travel arrangements, kit and club registration.
Training sessions
take place on Saturday mornings.
Please call the Club hotline on 12041 (AFTER 9.30 AM) for further details.
Arrangements
should be made for your child to travel to and from training
sessions and matches. We appreciate it if children can arrive promptly and are
collected promptly at the end of the session, if they are not making their own
way home. If you are going to be late picking your child up, please contact your
child's Year Group Coach to let him know.
There is no
official club training kit and the training sessions are free of charge.
The club has a small membership fee of £50.
We would be
grateful if you could complete the obligatory junior club membership
form which will be made available at the first session. For the safety of your
child
it is important that the club is informed of any medical condition or allergies
that
may be relevant should your child fall ill or be involved in an accident while
at the club.
